Mrs Thaler Senior has joined the group "The Last Day," which is preparing for the apocalypse. This displeases her daughter, who suspects a scam. Maloney, who is supposed to rescue his mother from the clutches of the doomsday guru, soon stumbles upon a "wrecked" corpse in the woods.
